Heavy downpours mixed with negative sewage planning often motives heavy flooding in elements of improved Jakarta. The flood in Bekasi began Thursday and was reportedly the worst during the past 9 years. The Bekasi River overflowed its banks and inundated residential areas neighborhood, with waters attaining 4 meters (13 toes) in some buildings.
